Set up candidate follow up reminders

Steps to create, view, and edit candidate follow-up reminders in Recruiting.

Overview

Set a follow-up reminder on a candidate's profile to remind you of an action you must take. 

  • For example, if you have a candidate you want to pursue, but they are out of town, you can set a reminder to follow up with them when they return. 

The Follow-Up feature is a great way to help you track what you must do in the future.


Create a follow-up reminder

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
  2. Select the job title that includes the candidate.
  3. Select the candidate. 
  4. Select the clock icon. The Set a Follow-Up popup opens. 
  5. Select a due date for the follow-up. Add Comments if needed.
  6. Select Save. The follow-up (including the comments) displays as a new message in the candidate's comment history.Candidate record with the Set a Follow-Up pop up displayed.

Review a prior follow-up

You can review all follow-ups you create by selecting Follow-Ups on the left navigation pane.

You can also view the current candidates with follow-up appointments from your Home dashboard (the clock icon displays next to their name).
Shows the Follow ups tab with the selections available.


Delete or modify a follow-up

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
  2. Select the job title that includes the candidate.
  3. Select the candidate with a set follow-up, and select the clock icon. A menu displays.Displays the selections to edit, add to calendar, or delete a follow up.Displays the candidate's name on the dashboard with a clock icon displayed beside the name.
