Save an email as a personal email template in Recruiting

Describes how to save an email as a personal email template.

Overview

In Recruiting, you can save an email as a personal email template. You can change these templates for general use later.

Notes:

  • For more information, refer to Autofill Tokens for Email Templates.
  • Include any attachments you need in the email template.
  • Remove your personal signature. Recruiting adds it to future emails for you.

Save an email as a personal email template 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
  2. While you are sending an email, select the floppy disk icon. The Save Email Template window opens.
  3. In the Save As field, type a name for the template.
  4. Select Save
  5. To edit the new email template, select the Cog icon, and then select Message Settings
  6. Select the My Templates tab.
  7. Select your new email template and edit as needed. 
  8. Select Save.
