This article is for users who create job records or submit job records for approval. The process you use - create jobs or approve jobs - depends on your organization's account settings.

You can send a job to Paycor Smart Sourcing when you create a job to get candidate recommendations for your open position.

Create or submit a job

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
For steps to create a job, refer to Create a job post in Recruiting.
  2. When you enter the job details, check Send this Job to Paycor Smart Sourcing
    Notes:
  • The default Smart Sourcing Manager name fills in automatically. To change it, choose a different Smart Sourcing Manager.
  • The Smart Sourcing Manager assigned to the job should be someone who can help define the ideal candidate for the position.
  1. Submit or activate the job.
Note: You cannot send internal and confidential jobs to Smart Sourcing.

Paycor Smart Sourcing receives the job, reviews the job description, and starts searching for candidates. The Smart Sourcing Manager is then asked to define the candidate profile and choose how involved they want to be in the candidate sourcing process.

For more information, refer to Calibrate job profiles in Smart Sourcing.
