Overview
The Recruiting Marketplace is a feature in Recruiting where you can buy products and services that help with hiring and recruiting.
Right now, the marketplace includes partners like:
- Monster
- CareerBuilder
We are always looking to add partners to the Recruiting Marketplace. For suggestions, contact the Paycor Alliances team.
Set up the Recruiting Marketplace
Important: You must be an administrator to complete the setup.
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. The Recruiting dashboard opens.
- At the top, select Marketplace.
- At the top, select Settings.
- Select Job Promotion. The Job Promotion settings display.
- In the Terms and Conditions area at the bottom, select Review Job Promotion Terms and Conditions. A popup opens.
- Mark the checkbox that says I agree to these terms and conditions, then select Save. The popup closes.
- At the top, next to Monthly Advertising Budget, select the pencil icon.
- Update the budget amount, then select Enter.
- In Spending Notifications, select the administrators who should get notifications when the advertising budget is used.
- Note: You can also temporarily block spending, give job-promoting permissions to other users, and update your company settings.
Promote a job
Only administrators and users assigned under Allow Non-Admin Users to Promote Jobs can promote jobs.
Note: A delay with job board postings is normal. Here are some estimates:
- CareerBuilder: 15 minutes
- Indeed: 24 hours
- LinkedIn: 24-36 hours
- Monster: 2 hours
Option 1. On the Active Jobs Tab on the Recruiting Dashboard
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- On the Active Jobs tab, select Promote at the bottom left in the job box.
- Go to the next topic in this article, Buy a job promotion.
Option 2. From a Job Details Screen
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- On the Active Jobs tab, select a Job Title.
- On the Job Details screen, do one of the following to launch the Job Settings window:
- At the top left, next to the job title, select the Info icon, or
- At the top right, select Promote.
- Select Job Promotion, and the screen updates.
- Go to the next topic in this article, Buy a job promotion.
Buy a job promotion
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select a Job Title.
- To open the Job Promotion window, do one of these:
- At the top, next to the job title, select the Info icon, or
- At the top right, select Promote.
- Select Job Promotion.
- Go to the Premium Job Boards section and select Promote. A Promote job window opens on Select Services.
- Next to the job board you want to buy, select Add to Cart, then select Next.
- For the premium job boards you chose, complete the classifications, then select Next.
- Review your order summary and select Pay [$Total Amount] at the bottom.
- When the success screen displays, select Done. The window closes.
- On the Recruiting dashboard, the job posting shows the number of promoted postings.
- You get a purchase confirmation email. Anyone set up for alerts also get a message.
- If one of the services you selected fails, you are notified after you select Purchase, and the credit card charge is updated.
- If all services fail, the credit card transaction is voided completely.
Pull reports on job promotions
Important: You must be an administrator to access these reports.
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select Marketplace > Reports. The Reports screen opens defaulting to the Text Messaging tab.
- On the left, select Job Promotion. The report options display.
- Review the report, change the search filters, and download the report you need.
Additional Information
- Paid Postings you buy in the Marketplace do not connect to your company's profile on Monster or CareerBuilder accounts.
- Recruiting cannot guarantee the success of paid postings.
- You are notified if there are any issues or delays with your postings.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does updating a job posting impact my promotions?
- When job postings are updated, you receive an alert to confirm your job promotion reflects those updates.
- Updates can experience a delay when sent to the job board, just like when purchasing a new job promotion.
How does deleting a job posting impact my promotions?
- When an active job is inactivated, Recruiting asks if you want to delete the promoted job posting.
- Deletions experience a delay when sent to the job board, just like when purchasing a new job promotion.
- If you re-activate the job immediately, the job posting is not deleted.
- However, the change cannot be reversed if the job board deletes your posting.
