Activate and edit draft jobs in Recruiting

Describes how to find, activate, and edit draft jobs.

This article is for administrators.

 

Find a draft job 

Draft jobs are not visible to applicants until you activate them. You can find draft jobs in two ways. 

Method 1: Use the Drafts tab 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Select the Drafts tab. 
     

Method 2: Use Job Search filters 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.  
  2. Select the Search box in the top left corner. 
  3. Select Job Search. 
  4. Select Any Status. 
  5. Select Draft. 
  6. Select Save. 
     

Activate a draft job 

Activating a draft job makes it available for recruiting. 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Select the draft job title. 
  • If your organization uses Job Approval, this will bring you to the Request Job Approval screen. 
  • If your organization does not use Job Approval, this will bring you to the Create a Job screen. 
  1. Fill in any required job details and select Next to activate the position. 
      

Edit or delete a draft job 

You can edit or delete a draft job if you have the required permissions. 

Note: If you cannot edit a job, you might not have the correct permissions. Contact your administrator for help. 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Select the Search box. 
  3. Select Job Search. 
  4. Select Any Status. 
  5. Select Draft. 
  6. Select Save. 
  7. Select the draft job you want to update. 
  8. Select the More Info icon next to the job title.  

To delete the job: 

  • Select Delete Job. 

To edit the job: 

  1. Update the information as needed. 
  2. Select Save.
