Describes how to use JobTarget in Recruiting so you can promote open positions, reach more candidates, and manage recruiting advertising from a single location.

This article is for administrators.

JobTarget offers:

  • A Marketplace that lets you post jobs to more than 25,000 job sites.
  • Programmatic advertising that automatically distributes jobs to over 50 job boards based on job details.
  • Compliance tools that support OFCCP requirements and audit readiness.
  • Media Services that provide guidance on job board selection and contract management.

When candidates apply through JobTarget, their information automatically creates candidate records in Recruiting.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure the following requirements are met:

Note: All Recruiting customers have access to JobTarget. No additional configuration is required.

Use JobTarget to Promote a Job

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
  2. From the Recruiting dashboard, select the job title you want to promote then select the JobTarget link.
  • If you’ve just created a new job, this tab will automatically open as the job is activated.
  • The Purchased Promotions tab shows active and previously purchased promotions.
  • The Add a Promotion tab lets you purchase new promotions.

  1. From the Add a Promotion tab, choose one of the following options:
  • Programmatic: JobTarget selects job boards for you using job details of your job posting, such as title, location, and category.
    • You can pick a Programmatic package by budget, and JobTarget lists the posting across its board network. You do not pick individual boards.
  • Marketplace: You select specific job boards from the JobTarget marketplace. You can filter and search for the boards you want, and add each board to your cart one at a time.
    • Use this option when you want to choose boards yourself, including niche, diversity, or industry-specific sites.

Purchase a Programmatic Posting

  1. Select one of the Programmatic options.
Note: Each Programmatic option lists the price and the job boards where JobTarget will post the job. This makes it easy to compare options before you check out.
  2. Select Checkout.

  3. JobTarget opens in a new tab. Enter your payment information and confirm your purchase.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for postings to appear on the Purchased Promotions tab.

Use the Marketplace to Select Job Boards

  1. Select GO TO MARKETPLACE. The JobTarget Marketplace opens in a new browser window.
  2. Find the job boards you want to use, then select Add to Cart for each one.
Notes: If the job board is not visible, use the Search field to find it. You can also use these filters to limit your results: Category, Industry, Location, Price.
  3. Compare the price, board description, and reach details before you buy. These are listed on each board tile in the Marketplace.
  • Price: The cost of the posting and the posting length in days.
  • Board description: The audience the board serves. It can be a specific industry, profession, geography, or diversity community.
  • Reach or traffic details: The audience size or traffic figures when the board provides them.
  1. Select the cart icon to continue to checkout.
  2. If prompted, enter additional details for any job board.
  3. Select Checkout.
  4. Enter your payment information.
  5. Select Submit Order.

After you purchase a JobTarget promotion, the promotion appears on the Purchased Promotions tab in Recruiting. JobTarget begins distributing your job posting to the selected job boards.
