How Do I Create a Direct Link to a Job's Description Screen in Recruiting?

Describes how to create a direct link to a specific job's Description and Apply sections.

This article is for administrators.

 

Follow these steps to create a direct link to a Job Description page for a particular job:

1. Log in and go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. 

  • Your Recruiting dashboard appears.

2. Find the job and click it to see the job's overview screen like the one shown here:

3. At the top to the left of the job title, click the blue Info icon blue info iconto open the Job Info screen. 

  • It defaults to the Job Info tab.

4. In the Company Pages section at the top, do one of these:

  • If the Include in Internal Jobs Feed checkbox is not marked, click Company Careers Page
    • This marks the box and creates a direct link.
    • Then click Copy Link and a popup window appears. 
  • If the Include in Internal Jobs Feed checkbox is already marked, click Copy Link and a popup window appears.

5. Click Copy and then click Done to close the popup window.

6. Paste the link in the destination document or email.

  • The link looks like this: http://www.growthlane.com?gnk=job&gni=8a79818b8fa2289b018fa253b8890000&gns=Internal%20Applicant 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the left side, click Job Promotion

In the Company Pages section, click Company Careers Page. This opens the direct link to the job as it appears on your careers page in a new tab. 

Copy the link.
