You can use the Application Builder tool to create and manage Spanish versions of your job applications. The system automatically translates standard questions. You must manually translate custom questions.
Turn on Spanish applications
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- Select Admin, then select Careers Page.
- Select the Applications tab.

Open an existing application or create a new application.

Check Enable Spanish Version.

Select the Spanish tab that appears.
Manage translations

Fields in the Question Groups column are automatically translated into Spanish.

Fields in the Custom Questions column must be translated manually by your team.

A warning icon appears next to the Spanish application tab if any question is not translated into the Spanish version.
Add Spanish applications to posted jobs
Once the steps in the previous section are complete, you must choose which posted jobs allow Spanish applications.
- Select the Job title from the ATS home dashboard.
- Select the Job Information icon next to the Job title.

In the pop-up box, under the Job Info tab, scroll to the Spanish Language section.
- Select the checkbox to Enable Spanish Language Applications on the job.
- Translate the Job Title, then select Save.
If the Spanish job description was not previously added, add it now:
- Select Job Newsfeed and Description, then select Spanish Job Description.

Select Edit.
- Update the Spanish job description and select Save.
Set up department names in Spanish
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- Select Admin, then select Company Settings.
- Select Departments.

Select the Edit pencil icon to add the Spanish department name.
Update Thanks for Applying emails
Recruiting automatically uses the default Spanish Thanks for Applying email. That message can be customized.
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- Select Admin, then select Message Templates.
- Select the Corporate Templates tab.

Scroll and select Thank You for Applying – Spanish.
- Update your message and select Save.
Update EEO questions
Recruiting automatically uses the default Spanish version of the OFCCP’s voluntary self-identification forms. EEO text can be customized.
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- Select Admin, then select EEO/OFCCP.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select EEO Text.

Select the Spanish tab for each section to make language-specific updates.
Update minimum qualification questions
If you are using Minimum Qualification questions, you will need to provide Spanish versions of them.
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- Select Admin, then select EEO/OFCCP.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Select Edit Minimum Qualifications Questions.

Select the edit pencil icon next to the question.

In the Add/Edit Minimum Qualification Question pop-up box, update the Spanish Question area, and select Save.
Applicant experience
After your Spanish applications are set up, applicants can select between the English and Spanish versions when they are viewing your job listings on your careers page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Recruiting support other languages?
No. Spanish is the only other language currently supported for applications. You can submit feature enhancement requests for additional languages to the Product Development team. If you need to use another language on applications, provide that feedback through the Give Feedback area in Recruiting.
