Customize generic application submissions text on the Careers page

Describes how to customize the default application submissions text in Recruiting.

This article is for administrators.

 

You can update the generic application submission text to match your organization’s needs. 

This text appears at the bottom of your careers page job listings when the Allow Candidates to Submit Generic Applications feature is turned on.

Update the generic application text 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.  
  2. Select Admin, then select Careers Page
  3. Select the Settings tab.

  4. Locate the field labeled Allow People to submit a resume without selecting a job.

  6. Select Save. Your custom text now appears on your careers page.  

Notes 

  • Do not edit the text in the Apply Link token ({APPLY LINK - TEXT:CLICKING HERE}). 
    • If you change this, the token will stop working. Candidates will not be able to submit generic applications. 
  • The text box supports HTML formatting. 
    • You can use tags such as <br>, <p></p>, <h2></h2> to control layout and style.
