Overview
Standard User New Candidate Alerts notify Standard Users when applicants apply to jobs they are assigned to.
This setting controls the individual Email Me Site Applicants for My Jobs alert for each user.
You can now turn this alert on or off for all Standard Users at one time. You no longer need to update each user record one by one.
What this setting does
When this setting is turned on:
- All Standard Users receive email alerts when candidates apply to their assigned jobs.
- Any new Standard User created in the future has this alert turned on by default.
When this setting is turned off:
- Standard Users do not receive email alerts for new applicants.
Update Standard User New Candidate Alerts
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.

The Applicant Tracking link will navigate you to the Home Dashboard in your Applicant Tracking System.
- Select Admin and then select Company Settings.
- Select Standard User New Candidate Alerts.

Turn the alert on or off for Standard Users. You can select one option or both, if you want to notify your Standard Users.

Notification Center: If this box is checked, Standard Users will receive notifications internally through Paycor Recruiting when a new candidate applies for a job they are assigned to. This notification is found under the bell icon in your ATS.
- Email: If this box is checked, Standard Users will receive a notification via email to the address they have setup in Recruiting for their user profile, whenever a new candidate applies for a job, they are assigned to.

Notification Center: If this box is checked, Standard Users will receive notifications internally through Paycor Recruiting when a new candidate applies for a job they are assigned to. This notification is found under the bell icon in your ATS.
- Select Save.
Important notes
- This change applies to all current Standard Users.
- Administrators are not affected by this setting.
- New Standard Users follow this setting automatically at creation.
