Overview 

Recruiting licenses control who can manage hiring tasks in Paycor. Each Admin or Staffing User uses one license. Your contract sets the rate you pay for each license. 

Your Paycor team can help you update licenses and keep your invoices accurate. 

Who uses a Recruiting license 

The following user types require a Recruiting license: 

  • Admin users 
  • Staffing users 

Standard users do not use a Recruiting license. 

How Billing works 

  • You are charged a contract-based rate for each active Recruiting license. 
  • Billing updates when licenses are added, transferred, or removed. 
  • Your invoice reflects the number of active Admin and Staffing users. 

Ways to free up a license 

You can free up a Recruiting license at any time by: 

  • Changing an Admin or Staffing User to a Standard User 
  • Inactivating an Admin or Staffing User 
  • Canceling a license that is no longer needed 
  • Transferring a license to another eligible user
