Send an invitation email to new users in Recruiting

This article describes how to send an invitation email with a password to your new users to give them access to Recruiting.

This article is for administrators.

Overview

  • When you create a new user in Recruiting, Paycor asks if you want to send an invite email.
  • This email lets the user sign in to Recruiting. It includes a temporary password to use until they set up one of their own.
  • If you choose Do Not Send, you can send the invite email later.

Send an invite email to a user

Use these steps to send the Recruiting invite email after the user is created.

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. The Applicant Tracking link will take you to the Home Dashboard in your Applicant Tracking System.
    Shows the Recruiting dashboard
  2. Go to Admin > Users.

  3. Select the user who needs the invite email.
  4. In the Account Info window, select Send an Invite Email.

  5. In the Invite this User confirmation pop-up, select Send

The user receives an email with sign-in details for Recruiting.

What happens next

  • The user uses the email to sign in to Recruiting.
  • The password in the email can be changed after signing in.
  • If the user does not receive the email, check their spam or junk folder.

Important Note

  • This is how to send an invite for direct login to recruitingbypaycor.com.
  • If you can sign in to the Paycor platform (for example, Paycor HR), you have another way to open Recruiting. You can turn on Recruiting Single Sign-On (SSO) for users.
    • For more information on utilizing SSO for access, refer to the relevant articles below.
