Customize candidate file types and labels

Describes how to create custom file types to add to a candidate's profile for unique items like art portfolios and assessments.

Overview

If you often upload files that do not fit the current file types, you can make a custom file type. Examples include references, art portfolios, and assessments.

Custom file types show on every candidate profile and for every job.

Add a custom file type

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.  
  2. In the search box, search for the candidate. You can also select the job title of the job the candidate applied for.
  3. Select the candidate's name to open their details screen. 
  4. At the top right, select +Add. The Add File popup opens.
  5. In the Type of File field, select Custom File Type.Shows the Add File popup
  6. Enter a name for the file type. 
  7. Add a file. 
  8. Select Upload, then Save.Shows the Enter the file type field

Delete a custom file type

  1. Select +Add File. 
  2. Select the red trash can next to the custom file type.
