This user guide for Hiring Managers and Approvers explains how to approve or deny Offer Letters and check the status.
How Do I Begin a Request for Offer Approval?
- Click the Offer Stage badge, and select Request Offer Approval.
- Complete the required and any optional fields, then click Continue in the upper right corner.
- Enter an optional comment and click Submit. Recruiting alerts your Approval Manager that you have submitted the request.
- You're finished! Recruiting displays your alert settings for your convenience.
How Do I Check the Status of an Offer Approval?
As a Standard User, the Approvals tab on your home dashboard displays all offers related to you. This includes offers you’ve requested and offers you need to approve. This is where you see the offer status in the approval process.
How Do I Approve or Deny an Offer That Has Been Submitted to Me for Review?
- Click your Requests tab on the left side to view offers waiting for your approval. Remember, Green is GO, and Red is NO. You can enter a comment if you’d like.
- Click Save when you are finished. At this point, Recruiting alerts the next person in the process if applicable.
Note: The Offer Details screen above tracks the approval as it progresses (e.g., emails and comments, details of the offer). This screen is only accessible to:
- Users assigned as Recruiters and Hiring Managers for the job
- Users that are part of the approval process, i.e., Approvers
- Admin and Staffing Users
