Send information requests in Recruiting

This article explains how to handle Information Requests.

This article is for administrators.

Overview

This feature lets you collect additional information from candidates who are already on your candidate list. Admins, Staffing Users, Hiring Managers, and Executives assigned to a job can use it to ask candidates for more details.

How does it help?

  • Simplify the application process: Start with a short application to improve the candidate experience, boost application rates, and dramatically cut drop-off rates. You can always request details from top candidates later!
  • Collect applications from passive candidates: You can send an application even if the candidate was manually entered into Paycor. Recruiting automatically links each application to the matching profile they already have.
  • Collect voluntary EEO information: Even if you do not need a longer application, you can request EEO information from candidates who have fallen into a compliance gap.

Send an information request to a candidate

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. The Recruiting window opens with a list of active job positions.
  2. Select the job position and then select the name of the candidate.
  3. Select the information icon next to candidate name. A Candidate Info window opens.Candidate Info pop-up
  4. Select Info Request.
  5. Enter your message in the Info Request window and select Send. A success banner pops up on your screen.
