Describes the Thanks for Applying Message and Emails.

OVERVIEW

What are candidates seeing after they apply? Candidates see a message and an email after applying to a job posting:

  • Thanks for Applying Message: The message that appears in their browser after clicking Submit.
  • Thanks for Applying Email: The email they receive after submitting their application.

EDIT THE THANKS FOR APPLYING MESSAGE

  1. In Recruiting, click Admin.
  2. Click Careers Page.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. On the left side, towards the bottom, locate the Thanks for Applying Message field.
  5. Modify the field as needed.

EDIT THE THANKS FOR APPLYING EMAIL 

  1. In Recruiting, click Admin.
  2. Click Careers Page.
  3. In Corporate Templates, locate the Thanks for Applying Email Template and Generic Submission Template.
    Notes: 
    • The Thanks for Applying Email Template is the email sent to candidates that apply for jobs, whereas the Generic Submission Template is the email sent to candidates who submit Generic Applications.
    • Unlike some of the other corporate templates in Recruiting, you must write in an email signature. This email template does not pull in your default signature.
  4. Select each and edit these templates as needed.

Pro-tip: You can also create Custom Thank You Letter Templates if you want to send candidates jobs-specific Thanks for Applying emails instead of the standard one.
