Non-selection reasons in Recruiting

Describes how to access, edit, and add reasons for non-selection for job postings.

Overview

In recruiting, you can create reasons for non-selection for candidates. These help you keep dispositioned candidates organized. 

These reasons for non-selection flow into your EEO/OFCCP logs so you can report on them whenever you want.

Note: Once entered, reasons cannot be edited; they can only be deleted.

Access non-selection reasons 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
  2. Select Admin, then select EEO/OFCCP.Shows the EEO/OFCCP screen
  3. Mark the checkbox for Enable Reasons for Non-Selection.
  4. Select Edit Reasons for Non-Selection.
  5. Complete the Summary (category) and Reason fields.
  6. Select Add.

These reasons cannot be deleted section 

This section at the bottom displays the reasons you cannot edit or delete

  • No Response: No response from the candidate
  • Duplicate: This candidate has already been submitted
  • Job Closed: We closed this role (unfilled)
  • Job Filled: We hired someone else for this role
  • OTM (Off The Market): They were already off the market
  • CNI (Candidate Not Interested): They were not interested in this position
  • No-Start: We hired this person, but they did not start
