Create QR codes to promote jobs and careers pages 

Describes how to create QR codes for job postings or Careers Pages, so candidates can quickly access and apply to open positions.

This article is for administrators, staffing users, and standard users assigned as hiring managers. 

You must be an administrator or Staffing user or assigned as a Hiring Manager for the job. 

A job posting or Careers page URL must be available. 

 

QR codes are a quick and easy way to help people find job listings or your company’s Careers Page. 

QR codes work best in busy or in-person settings: 

  • Hiring events 
  • Career fairs 
  • Front desk or kiosk displays 

They help people apply quickly without having to type long URLs. 

Copy the job or careers page URL 

Copy a Job Posting URL 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Go to the job record. Then select the Job Promotion tab. 
  3. In the Company Pages section, select the Company Careers Page link. 
  4. Copy the URL. 
      

Copy Your Careers Page URL 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Go to Admin > Careers Page > Settings tab. 
     
  3. Select Careers Page link. 
  4. Copy the Careers Page URL. 
     

Create a QR Code  

Now that you have the link to your job or Careers Page, use a free QR code website to create your code. Examples include: 

Steps

  1. Open a QR code generator website. 
  2. Paste your job or Careers Page URL. 
  3. Customize the design if needed: 
  • Add your logo  
  • Choose brand colors 
  1. Download the QR code as a PNG or PDF. 
    Tip: Scan the QR code with a mobile device to verify that it opens the correct job posting or Careers Page before applying it to marketing materials. 

Use the QR Code 

Add your QR code to places where candidates can scan it: 

  • Printed flyers or posters 
  • Table tents or signage 
  • Email campaigns  
  • Presentations  
  • Office screens or kiosks  
  • Hiring event signs
