Call candidates from Recruiting

Describes the requirements and steps to call candidates from a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device in Recruiting.

This article is for administrators

You must have an application installed that supports phone calls. The app must be set as the default.

  • Desktop and laptop: A calling application such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral, WhatsApp, Google Voice, etc.
  • Mobile device: The native Phone app.
  • Note: You might see usage charges from your service provider depending on how the call is connected. Recruiting provides the candidate's phone number via the tel: protocol.

Call a candidate

Note: These steps walk through how to call directly from the candidate record. You can also call the candidate outside of Recruiting using the phone number listed on the application or resume. Access the number by selecting the Info icon next to the candidate’s name.

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
  2. Open the candidate record and select the info button next to the name.

Troubleshooting

  • The Phone icon does not work:

    • Contact your IT team for assistance if needed.
