Use copy or blind carbon copy (BCC) when emailing

Describes how to use copy or blind carbon copy (BCC) when sending emails so you can send a hidden copy to additional recipients.

This article is for administrators.

BCC is only available to Admin and Staffing users. Standard users cannot use BCC.

 
  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. From the candidate record, select the Email icon. An email window will open.

  3. On the To line, select the Show CC / BCC link.

  4. Enter each additional recipient's email address in the CC or BCC field. 
  • Selecting the CC or BCC field will bring up a quick list of users associated with the job.

  • Alternatively, select the address book and choose any of your Recruiting users.

  1. Complete the email content, then select Send Email Now.

After you send the email, Recruiting records the message in the Newsfeed, and BCC recipients remain hidden from most users.
