Review Requests are templates sent to people who need to review a candidate and help determine the next steps in the hiring process.

These requests include helpful candidate information to support the review.

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
  2. Select the Gear icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then select Message Settings
  3. Select the My Templates tab.
  4. Locate the Review Requested Template under My WorkFlow Templates.
  5. Select the Review Requested template. On the right side of the page, the template will appear.
  • Review the template Subject Line, attachments, and Message Body to make any necessary updates.
  • The Message Body shows the message reviewers receive. There are auto-fill tokens available below the message that you can use to create a more customized email to your reviewers.
  • Attachments include resume and/or application to help with evaluation. There is also the option to add a file from your desktop as an attachment.
  1. Update the template content and attachments as needed.
  2. Send yourself a test email to see what the Review Request email will look like.
  3. Select Save

After you save your changes, the system uses your updated template and preferences when you send Review Requests to reviewers.

Troubleshooting

  • Changes do not appear in review requests that other users send: Changes to my templates only updates your Review Request template, it will not update other user's templates.
  • Attachments are missing: Check that the required attachments are selected in the template settings and select Save.
