Use the Do Not Hire flag in Recruiting

This article explains how to use the Do Not Hire flag for candidates in Recruiting.

Overview

When you mark a candidate as Do Not Hire:

  • A prominent notice is featured on the candidate’s record.
  • The candidate’s status changes to Do Not Hire.
  • Paycor saves this action in the candidate history.

Note: This action impacts all email addresses that match in Recruiting.

Use the Do Not Hire flag

  1. From the candidate record, select the information icon. The candidate information window opens. Select Flag - Do Not Hire Flag - Do Not Hire option in the candidate details pop-up window.
  2. In the confirmation pop-up that opens, select Yes, Do it.
  3. After the confirmation is done, any candidate records with a matching email address will have the Do Not Hire flag. The records are also highlighted in red in the Candidate Search list.
