Overview
Scorecards are sets of questions sent to interviewers after they meet a candidate. They help everyone give feedback in the same way, so it’s easier to compare candidates and make fair decisions. This article shows you how to turn on and manage the settings for scorecards.
Set up interview scorecards
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- Select Admin, then select Interviews.
-
In the Interview Scorecards section, select Settings.
-
In the Enable Interview Scorecards section, turn on the toggle next to Enable Interview Scorecards (recommended).
Note: This is turned on by default when your account is activated. -
In the Scorecard Visibility (Standard Users) section, select the visibility for your standard users.
Note: Administrators and staffing users can view all scorecards. Standard users will only see scorecards for candidates that apply to jobs to which they are assigned.
- Candidate scorecards after submission (recommended): standard users can see the scorecards left by other users, but only after they submit their own.
- Candidate scorecards before submission: standard users can see the scorecards left by other users at any time.
-
Only scorecards they have submitted: standard users cannot see the scorecards left by other users. They can only view their own.
-
In the Score Range, set the numeric range used to score candidates. This global setting applies to all candidates. You define the score range, whole numbers or decimals, and the language used within the key.
-
To customize the language in the key, select Score Key Settings. In Key Type, select Custom Key Text and type your text. Add Key Item adds additional score values.
-
The key is visible when filling out the scorecard.
-
In Scorecard Submission Requests, set when Recruiting sends alerts to interviewers to submit scorecards. Recruiting sends up to 2 reminder notifications if a scorecard is not submitted.
- Select Save to apply the settings.
Scorecard library
In this same Interview Scorecards section, you will see the available scorecards.
-
Select a scorecard title to open it and review the feedback questions.
-
To experience the scorecard as an interviewer would, select Preview Edit Mode. This allows you to preview and interact with the scorecard as if you were actively completing it during an interview.
