Complete an interview scorecard on-the-fly in Recruiting

Describes how to fill out a scorecard during a meeting with a candidate so you can capture notes and ratings in real time.

This article is for administrators.

Overview

While the standard process for completing a Scorecard is to wait for a post-meeting email, you can also fill it out in real-time during your meeting. This is especially helpful if you want to capture notes while the conversation is fresh.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Recruiting and Applicant Tracking.
  • Permission to send and complete scorecards.
  • An active job and candidate record with a scorecard template.

Fill out a scorecard on-the-fly

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
  2. Open the candidate record, select the Scorecards tab, and then select Send a Scorecard Request.
  3. A pop-up window opens. In the pop-up, set the following fields:
  • Event: Select the meeting from the list, or select an unscheduled option such as Recruiter Screen, Phone Screen, or Interview.
  • To: Select your name.
  • Scorecard: Select the appropriate scorecard template.
  • Select Preview Scorecard to review the questions.
  • Guide (optional): Select an interview guide, if your team created one, with suggested questions or talking points.
  1. Select Send Email. Paycor sends an email to you with a link to the scorecard and the guide if selected.
  2. While an email will be sent with a link to the scorecard, you will also see a window appear where you can select LEAVE SCORE to open the scorecard immediately.

Use the scorecard to enter notes and scores during the conversation.
