Overview

Custom interview scorecards help you collect consistent feedback during interviews.

Set up a custom interview scorecard

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
  2. Select Admin > Interviews
  3. In the Interview Scorecards section, select Create a New Scorecard
  4. Enter a name in the Scorecard Name field.
  5. Use the options in the Form Toolkit to customize the details:
  • Text: use text to provide instructions
  • Custom Questions: use these to add your own questions to collect specific, structured feedback from interviewers.
  • Skills Rating: use to define specific skills to evaluate, and interviewers rate each one using a scale such as stars, numbers, or thumbs up/down.
    • Set higher weights for skills that are critical to the role.
    • Skills ratings do not affect the overall numerical score.

  • Dividing Line: visual formatting to help create easy-to-read sections
  1. Drag and drop items from the Form Toolkit to build a new scorecard or update an existing scorecard.
  2. Select Save. After you save the scorecard, the new scorecard appears in the list of available interview scorecards.

Example

  • Example: Custom sales interview scorecard
  • Before: The company uses a default scorecard with general questions.
  • After: The scorecard includes weighted Skills Rating items for communication and product knowledge
