Set up single sign-on (SSO) for Recruiting

Describes how administrators can set up SSO and SAML 2.0. in Recruiting.

This article is for administrators.

You must be an administrator in Recruiting to complete this setup. 

This article is for clients who want to log in to Recruiting directly from a source outside of Paycor. 

 

After you set up Single Sign-On (SSO) with your preferred provider, connect it to Recruiting using these steps. 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.  
  2. Select Admin, then select Company Settings.  
  3. Select SAML Single Sign-On from the left navigation menu. The page displays the SAML Consumer URL your provider needs and other required fields for Recruiting. 
    Important: You must obtain the required credentials from your SSO provider. 
     
  4. Complete the required fields. 
  • In SAML Single Sign-On, select one of the following options: 
    • Require SAML (SAML Only): All users, except Admin users, must sign in using SAML. They cannot sign in with a username and password. 
    • Enable SAML (SAML or Password): Users can sign in using either SAML Single Sign-On or with a username and password. 
    • We don't use SAML: Users can sign in only with a username and password. 
       
  1. Enter the values in Parameters Received From Your Corporate IdP.  
    Important: You must obtain these credentials from your SSO provider. 
     
  2. Select Save. After you enter and authenticate the required information, users can sign in to Recruiting using your SSO provider.
