Smart Sourcing helps you identify and engage potential candidates for your open jobs. As Smart Sourcing reaches out to candidates and adds interested candidates to your Recruiting account, you can review them within your Paycor Recruiting account. From there, you can evaluate candidate qualifications and take the next steps, such as outreach or scheduling interviews.
Prerequisites
You must be assigned to the job record as one of the following roles to view and interact with candidates associated with that job:
- Hiring Manager
- Recruiter
- Executive
- Team Member
Find your Smart Sourced candidates
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.
- You can locate Smart Sourced candidates in two ways:
From the Job Record
- Navigate to the job you want to review.
- On the Candidate Breakdown tab, review the list of candidates.
-
Find candidates with Smart Sourced listed in the Source column.
- Select the candidate's name.
- Review the candidate profile and take the next steps, such as reaching out or scheduling an interview.
From the Candidate Search
-
Select the magnifying glass icon > Candidate Search.
- Select Advanced Search to open the search fields.
-
In the Source/Referrer dropdown menu, select Smart Sourced.
-
Press Enter on your keyboard or select the Search (magnifying glass) icon.
- Review the results. The returned candidate list contains candidates whose source is currently labeled Smart Sourced.
Tips
- Use the Source column on the Candidate Breakdown screen to quickly identify Smart Sourced candidates for a specific job.
- Use Advanced Candidate Search when you need to find Smart Sourced candidates across multiple jobs.
- Important: Candidate source values can be manually updated by users. If members of your team change candidate source labels, some candidates may display a source of Smart Sourced even if they were not originally added through Paycor Smart Sourcing. Consider establishing internal guidelines for managing candidate source values to maintain accurate reporting and searches.
