Recruiting: Job Approval Guide (Hiring Managers and Approvers)

Describes how the the Job Approval feature for Hiring Managers and Approvers in Paycor Recruiting.

How Do I Request a Job Approval? 

  1. Click Request Job Approval in the navigation bar, complete the required fields and any applicable optional fields, and in the top-right corner, click Next.
  2. Enter an optional comment and then, to select your company Admin (if a name isn’t already populated), click Approval Managers. Click Submit. Recruiting alerts your Approval Manager(s) that you have submitted the request.

    You're finished! Recruiting displays your alert settings for your convenience.

How Do I Check the Status of a Job Approval? 

As a Standard User, the Approvals tab on your home dashboard displays all jobs related to you, jobs you’ve requested, and jobs you must approve. You can see here where the jobs stand in the approval process.

How Do I Approve or Deny a Job that's Been Submitted to me for Review?

  1. Click your Requests tab on the left side to view jobs that are waiting for your approval.
  2. Green is Go, and Red is No. Enter comments if applicable and then click Save when you are finished.
