- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.

Select Admin, then select Careers Page. The Careers Page Settings tab opens.
- Locate the section Allow people to submit a resume without selecting a job.

Check Display Generic Site Submission Text.
- Select Save.
What candidates see
When enabled, the following message appears at the bottom of your careers page:

- Candidates who submit a resume without selecting a job are added to the Generic Candidate Pool. For more information, refer to Find generic candidates in the candidate pool.
- These candidates receive a thanks for applying message, similar to applicants who apply to a specific job. For more information, refer to Edit the Thanks for Applying Message Notification and Email.
