Important
Before you can schedule interview rooms in the Interview Scheduler, you must add Interview Rooms to Recruiting so you can look up availability and book them.
Set up interview rooms
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select Admin, then select Interviews.
- Select Interview Rooms.
- Select Create an Interview Room.
- Enter the interview room's Email Address and Room Name, and then select Save. Your new interview room is available the next time you schedule interviews.
Notes:
- Use the email address of the room resource. If you are unsure what this is, contact your IT team.
- You can also add a new room from the room selector in the Interview Scheduler by selecting Create a New Room.

Select interview rooms when you schedule an interview
After you set up your interview rooms in Recruiting, you can include them when building the interview itinerary.
You can:
- Review the availability and book time on the room's calendar the same way you do for a person.
- Add an interview room to each meeting individually, or add the same interview room to all meetings at once.
To add an Interview Room meeting-by-meeting:
- Begin scheduling the interview. For more information, refer to the Administrator's Guide for Using Interview Scheduling in Recruiting.
- When you reach the step where you can add an interview room, do one of these:
- To add a room to one meeting, select + Room in a candidate's row. The Select a Room window opens. Find the interview room and select Save.

- To add the same interview room to every meeting, select +Add an Interview Room above the candidate list.

- To add a room to one meeting, select + Room in a candidate's row. The Select a Room window opens. Find the interview room and select Save.
- After you finish scheduling the interview, a calendar hold is placed on the interview rooms' calendars, the same as with in-person interviews.
