REQUIREMENTS
- Text messaging must be enabled by an Administrator user in Recruiting.
- All Administrators have access to do this.
MESSAGE HEADER (COMPANY NAME)
The Message Header:
- Is a short text phrase which is appended to the beginning of each message.
- Is meant to help a candidate identify where a communication is coming from.
You can also leave this blank if no header needs to be added.
WHO CAN SEND TEXT MESSAGES?
Your texting plan limits the users who are able to communicate to candidates via text. Here are the options:
- Option One: Staffing users and Administrator users only
- Option Two: All users. This option allows you to restrict the ability to send text messages on a per-user basis as necessary.
MESSAGE TEMPLATES
For each template in Recruiting, you now have both an email and a texting template. Texting templates work just like the existing email templates. For more information about managing these, see Recruiting: Create and Share Email Templates.
NOTIFICATIONS
Texting notifications are controlled in your personal notification settings in Recruiting. Here is how to control them:
- In the upper-right corner of Recruiting, under the Gear icon, click Notification Settings.
- Enable the option to Notify me when another user edits one of my jobs/candidates. When a text is sent or received about a candidate, you receive a notification there.
Important: You must be assigned to the job that the candidate has applied to as a Hiring Manager or a Recruiter.
CANCEL TEXT MESSAGING
To stop using text messaging, contact Recruiting Support and we remove the feature from your account.
