Sometimes, you might have too many applicants for a job, and you want to take the job posting off your website without actually closing the job.

This way, the job stays open and active in Recruiting, but it won't appear on your Careers page or other job sites like Indeed, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor.

Steps to Stop Accepting Resumes for an Active Job Posting

1. Log in and go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. Your Recruiting dashboard appears. 

2. Click the job title you want to stop accepting resumes for, and the details screen appears. 

3. At the top of the screen, next to the job title, click the blue info icon (). A popup appears.

4. Click the Job Promotions tab. Next to the Company Careers Page section, click the vertical ellipses icon and in the popup, click End Promotion.  

5. Click End Promotion, and these occur:

• A success notification appears briefly.
• The green Active label is replaced with a blue Promote label for the Company Careers Page, and it also automatically removes the promotion from the Free Job Boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor).
