Use artificial intelligence (AI) generated job descriptions

This article describes how to create artificial intelligence (AI) generated job descriptions.

Overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated job descriptions help you:

  • Save time when you write job descriptions
  • Get more qualified applicants with engaging job descriptions
  • Improve the accuracy and grammar of job descriptions

It is available to all Paycor Recruiting clients.

Create AI-generated job descriptions

  1. Open the AI Job Descriptions generator from any of these 5 entry points:
  • Go to Home > Draft Jobs, then pick a job title from the list:
  • Go to Home > Drafts, then pick a job title from the list:
  • Go to Admin > Job Management, then select the Job Templates tab:

  • Go to Home > Create a Job:
  • Go to Home > Request Job Approval:
  1. Fill in the required fields to create a job. You must enter a Job Title to turn on the Generate button in Build an AI-Powered Job Description.
  • In the example below, the Generate button is greyed out. The note under the Job Title field states that the field is required.
  • In the example below, the Job Title has been added. The Generate button is active.
  1. Select Generate. A message suggests that you add skills to get a better result.
  • To add skills, select No, Add Skills. Type the skills under Specific Skills. Use commas or press Enter between skills. Select Generate again.
  • To skip skills, select Yes, Continue. The AI Job Description Generator adds skills based on the Job Title.
  • When the AI-generated job description is done, it looks like this: 
    • To see the job description full screen, click the caret to shrink the Build an AI-Powered Job Description panel.
  1. When all required fields are complete, the Next button turns on. 
  2. To post the job, select Next.
